Students and parents at Muskogee Public Schools now have a confidential number to call to report unsafe situations.
MPS Police Chief Dan Hall said he worked with Muskogee High School committees to institute the Rougher Safe Call program. Through the system, students or parents can call 869-2559 to alert campus police or administrators of unsafe areas or situations such as bullying, threats, sexual harassment, fights or vandalism.
People also can text or e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. The number and e-mail address are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
