Billy Ray Cyrus is trying to mend his relationship with daughter Miley Cyrus after telling GQ magazine that he was "scared" for her well-being.
Billy Ray, 49, tells People magazine that his comments in GQ were "explosive, and unintentionally so" and that he is now focusing his time on mending his relationship with his children and his estranged wife, Tish Cyrus.
Last week, Billy Ray told GQ magazine that he "never made a dime" off of his daughter (a claim that a source at Disney called "ludicrous") and that his family was attacked by Satan.
Miley was reportedly "furious" over Billy Ray's comment and a source connected with her camp likened Billy Ray to the notoriously press-happy Michael Lohan.
