The Oklahoma City Thunder announced its 2011-12 pre-season and regular season schedules on Tuesday, provided their will be a season if the lockout is not resolved. The team will open the regular season at the Los Angeles Lakers on Nov. 1 and will host the Indiana Pacers at the Oklahoma City Arena in the home opener on Nov. 4.
The 2011-12 regular season schedule is highlighted by 24 nationally televised games this season. The Thunder will play two home games on ABC this season when they host the Chicago Bulls, Apr. 1, and the Los Angeles Lakers, Apr. 8. The Thunder will also play nine games on ESPN starting with a matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers, Nov. 23, at the Oklahoma City Arena. The Thunder will also host the Orlando Magic, Dec. 21, the San Antonio Spurs, Dec. 16, the Denver Nuggets, Feb. 19, and the Boston Celtics, Feb. 22. Road games to be featured on ESPN are against the Miami Heat, Dec. 23, the Dallas Mavericks, Feb 1, the Utah Jazz, Feb. 10, and the Atlanta Hawks, March 22.
