With the Black Friday frenzy now over, retailers will be looking to lure bargain hunters online to make this Cyber Monday the biggest ever.
Web retailers are expected to click up a record $1.2 billion in Cyber Monday sales, beating out 2010’s tally of just over $1 billion, said Andrew Lipsman, an industry analyst at comScore.
The first Monday after Thanksgiving — traditionally known as a day to return to work — has rapidly grown into one of the heaviest online shopping days of the year.
While some retailers started offering holiday discounts online as early as Thanksgiving, many will still be hyping their Cyber Monday deals.
