Hewlett-Packard is blasting reports that its printers can be breached by hackers savvy enough to make the things actually catch fire.
Researchers from Columbia University shared the results of a study they say proves there's a flaw in HP's line of LaserJet printers that could potentially allow hackers to overwhelm the systems so badly they could go up in smoke.
The flaw could put millions of consumers and businesses at risk, MSNBC reported.
Apart from possibly singing your eyebrows, hackers could also infiltrate the printer's Internet connection to leach your personal information.
