The three-team deal that would have sent New Orleans Hornets All-Star guard Chris Paul to the Los Angeles Lakers and involve the Houston Rockets seems to have fallen apart, according to ESPN.
But the Los Angeles Clippers, who are were suitors a week ago for Paul, have re-emerged as a possible landing place for him.
Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic are saying they have given permission to the Lakers, Dallas Mavericks and New Jersey Nets to speak to Dan Fegan, the agent for center Dwight Howard, who, like Paul, can become a free agent after the season.
