Connors State College adjunct history instructor Janet Allen started a new semester with strict expectations for her students.
“You are expected to be in class on time,” Allen told students Monday, the first day of class at Connors’ new west campus. “We do not have the elevator problems here.”
CSC moved from the eight-story Haskell Building in downtown Muskogee to new facilities at Northeastern State University’s Muskogee campus, 2400 W. Shawnee Bypass, during the semester break. The CSC Three Rivers Port Campus remains open.
Students started the semester buying books in a more spacious bookstore and spreading out in a new 2,300-square-foot library.
