Cha-ching! City is getting its own money

In a few months, Greensboro, North Carolina, is gonna be rolling in the money. Their own money, that is. 

The city has decided to start using its own specific currency in an effort to boost the local economy. Local banks and shops backed the idea, and the paper money will go into effect in the spring (it is illegal to make coin versions). Organizers hope, with any luck, they can get about 50 local business on board with the project.
