Postponing the release of a new stable version for Firefox is official: Jonathan Nightingale, Senior Director of Firefox Engineering, has announced the decision on Mozilla’s blog.

One of the reasons at the root of this choice is Microsoft’s release of their monthly update, which may have a negative impact on the web browser.
